15 Feb OMG Confirmed: AC/DC In The Studio In Next May, New Album & Tour!

The word is out and it has been confirmed by multiple sources, some of which… direct (wink-a-blink-a).

I am so much in love it’s ridiculous.

Be well.

Classic Rock Magazine Announcement (I am not basing myself on this  – I got in touch with sources, but this gives us something to read, no? 😉 )

I Just heard the full version of ‘Play Ball’ here in Australia.AC/DC are back BIG TIME!Angus and Stevie sound fat and full. as does the rest of the band. I believe Angus now has 7 Shaffer replicas, the 1st one that Phil presented +3 more gold versions and 3 regular pedal versions! The clip to Play Ball was just filmed over the weekend. I understand the Shaffer Replica will make an appearance!! Can’t wait to see it.
Fil, how does it feel to hear Angus playing through your (and Banane’)Shaffer Replica, and to have influenced Angus’ tone on Rock or Bust, very emotional I suspect.

Is this the version you heard?
By the way. Pay attention to 1:55. I can definitely hear the Schaffer Soul in it. So powerful a yet so natural. Solodallas… you did a pretty damn good job. THANK YOU.

Well I know that trying to assess a 30 second sound clip of low quality, lossy, utube audio (with baseball sounds overdubbed on top) is foolhardy, but I can’t help but hear a production sound that reminds me of Black Ice. Not surprising, but dissapointing nonetheless. I would really like to be proven wrong here. Thanks for sharing though, and I hope the album turns our great and uses a little TSR in just the right places 😉

Lautmaschine…..I totally agree with you that yes it’s hard to say with the song being only a small piece and over top of other music to really say how it sounds but yes it’s sound’s just like another production clean sounding album just like black ice……Don’t get me wrong rock n roll train is a kick ass song I love it but overall the rest of black ice wasn’t good at all nor was the sound. They should have went with another producer and someone that would have made sure they went back to there roots and got that raw, crisp, and rocking sound we all love and remember…..Plus as much as wizard amps sound great there not classic AC/DC sounding. Main thing is were going to get a tour!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂

So, the New Album “Rock or Bust” will release in 11/28 (My Birthday btw ^^). This Saturday they will release a 60 sec tease of the Song “Play Ball”. Found some Links in YT, tho (Just search for Play Ball).

Sounds very “Fly on the Wall”-like, I like that. Pumped for that Album!

That’s what I wanted to hear
“We were never going to retire. It’ll never happen. Angus will never retire and as long as Angus never retires I won’t f***ing retire either.”
