The Schaffer Replica® Storm features the 100% analog limiter+ Expanded EQ+harmonic clipping circuit+boost+line buffer circuit we reverse-engineered from the 1974 Schaffer-Vega Diversity System wireless unit used by Angus Young, David Gilmour, EVH and nearly every legendary guitarist throughout the 70s and 80s. This unique combination of studio effects reproduces the unparalleled string separation, percussive attack, copious harmonics and singing sustain heard on some of the greatest guitar tracks ever recorded!

FEATURES

• GAIN Knob controls our harmonic clipping circuit that bumps the crucial low-mid frequencies responsible for giving live instruments punch and allowing guitar frequencies to stand out in the mix.

• BOOST Knob controls a powerful pre-amp capable of delivering a whopping 31db of clean boost. This LM308 flavored analog boost is perfect for balancing output signal once the perfect amount of drive has been dialed in on the GAIN knob.

• LIMITER Knob controls the signal amplitude threshold while protecting against the clipping that typically occurs with gain increases. The sensitivity of this effect increases as the GAIN knob is turned up. The dynamic response ranges from loose and bloomy to extremely percussive attack.
