Posted at 14:16h, 17 JanuaryHe, he…hard question Ant π For my personal shame I suck at recording stuff. I don’t have the gear, time & space to do it. But I’m not very concerned about this right now. My personal goal is learning guitar and find satisfaction in every little step. My “studio” is located into the kitchen, away from my sleeping kids and I torture my acoustic guitar every late night. You can check some of my “published” guitar works on http://www.youtube.com/user/rpatzelt
Cheers!

Posted at 21:47h, 16 JanuaryI recommend you use the “Noise Reduction” thing on GR4. You can find it on “Volume” while editing a preset.
Ant
Posted at 22:07h, 16 JanuaryYeah i didt faf with the software to much as i only had 30mins due to it being the demo version, i have purchased the mobile version so it should get rid of most of the hiss through the new audio interface π
TORVICK
Posted at 19:07h, 16 JanuaryNice haircut man! Seriously gr4 seems really interesting, what do you think about guitar rig 4?
Ant
Posted at 19:13h, 16 Januarylol thanks i havnt had it cut im growing it π
Try the demo and see for your self you will need the ASIO driver so you get low latancy on your pc audio card simply plug your guitar into your mic port download and install both software and chose the JUMP preset then rock! π
i purchased the mobile version of the software along with the audio interface the same day i was that impressed!

Posted at 19:34h, 16 JanuaryI also have the same “mobile” version; I like it a lot. I had not tried any other amp modeling software before, so I don’t have a reference for comparison.
Nice cover, Ant, enjoy the new toy π

Posted at 19:39h, 16 JanuaryThanks i will ;), there are more cabinet options with amplitube but just cant get the right tone nither can you record but this is only version 2 so not sure what the new ones are like, so since GR4 and hearing its tone i switched ^^ will hopfuly be with me next week

Posted at 19:55h, 16 JanuaryI haven’t yet upgraded my GR4 to the full version, so I’m not using any advanced features. the basic “essential” version that comes with the “mobile” pre-amp USB hardware is pretty good already; I’ll upgrade soon.
Ant
Posted at 19:57h, 16 Januarydo you think its worth getting the additional bits?
Ant
Posted at 18:01h, 16 JanuaryMy test of GR4 quickly learnt this one the same day i downloaded GR4 demo π also purchased the mobile version the same day XD
