I'm Blake, I'm 17 and play rhythm guitar. Malcolm younf is my idol, I've looked up to him since I started to play at 12; he's the one that made me think to myself:" I better pick up a guitar"

      Just a guess and I might be right because Blake shoots for Mal to a “T” in tone, he uses 12’s with a wound G just as Mal does. D’Addario EJ21’s or Ernie Ball 2206’s (My dad uses these in my tribute act).

    Spot on, as usual. Nothing is ever wrong with your vids, I got a request though. You should do something from one of the ’79 boots. Like Live at The Hammersmith ’79 or Amsterdam ’79. His tone in those days had sooo much more power behind it. Now a days his tone is sooo bouncy and tight. You got his current tone down, it’s unbelievable how good you got it but I think the ’78 – ’81 tone is where it’s at.

        You using Jazz strings w/ a wound G?? Also, you record thru GR while running through a JTM-45 right?

            I should rephrase that, what was your GR Preset like for your Shoot To Thrill video, the older one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLr1P2qZDi8)? I’m curious, how do you run the JTM out to the computer?? Do you use an effects loop or do you come out of the output into an audio interface? Still curious about your pickup also. TV Jones? Vintage Filtertron?? What you using? Lol, sooo many questions to ask. I swear, Mal’s tone is much more complex than Ang’s and you are the closet guy to it.

      Thanks Ant! I hardly would consider myself Malcolm’s reincarnation, but I try to do him justice. The guy’s a powerhouse 😉 I’m shocked with your kind words.
