We used to say “while we wait”… and it’s still true 😆
However, we’re closer and closer. And since we are, let me continue teasing you – my beloved solodallas.com friend – with my travels and endeavours as I test for real and for fun our product!
Had a blast. Enjoy!

Posted at 12:32h, 05 AugustEnhanced vibrato, sustain and drive, like all your dreams come true in one box! I know from my R42 that it just makes playing so much more rewarding and the impossible ‘possible’. Well done! 🙂

does it do wonders on the vidrato? does the dynamic compressor enhance it? sounds like it to me 🙂

Posted at 17:45h, 04 AugustCiao bro Ant, just woke up here in San Diego.
YES. It DOES wonders on the vibrato, though I wasn’t able to capture it on camera. The fact is that with 0.11-.52 strings on it, it was almost impossible for me to do my usual thing that I do with vibrato; much easier with the Angus model (Rock and roll relics) that I played afterwards, with my usual 009s: I think it shows. But when I finally was able to pull the high A vibrato thing on that LP, I went to heaven. It was Paul Kossoff territory, no doubt. HOWEVER I think more and more that we CAN get there with lesser guitars nowadays. A good/great custom pickup, good electronics (harness), proper wiring and good hardware (stopbar, bridge, tuners) will definitely bring us in closer. It CAN be done without spending 250,000 USD! 😆

Posted at 00:17h, 05 AugustAnthony,
I have three audio files made with GR5 and the TSR the other day, can send them to you (and anyone interested btw) just shoot me an email at sd@solodallas.com will send them to you. TSR on GR is just as good as TSR on anything else: it just works perfectly. Franz and I were basically astonished.

Posted at 02:06h, 04 AugustFil are you going to release where to put what for the compression and the boost to achieve certain AC/DC tones?
AngusRudd1019
Posted at 02:07h, 04 AugustI know ideally it is going to come to the players own ear but will you release kind of like a tone guide?
SoloDallas
Posted at 02:12h, 04 AugustYep. But really – so intuitive. STILL will do it (the guide) 😀

Posted at 09:54h, 04 AugustProbably there could be a whole new section on the website with database of Replica settings for certain tones/songs etc.
