Thanks Ant! It took at least 5 or 6 (probably more actually) tries to get this even close. You know how you finally get the whole song just right and then right at the end… squank… there’s that wrong note that just ruined the whole goddamned thing! lol I did one where I nailed every chord change and little lick but realized after that my guitar was out of tune! Holy frustrating man! lol Oh well “c’est la vie”!

haha yeah I did play the wrong note right at the end! Literally the LAST note! I don’t know why I did but… must of had some sort of brain twitch or something. I find songs with fade out endings a pain in the ass to play along with sometimes because at the end I’m never sure where to go or what to do anymore. I think I prefer songs that actually have an ending! 🙂

Yeah my protools has a fade out option too but my problem is knowing what to play as it is fading out because sometimes the songs go off a bit while fading out and the guitars and stuff are doing different things.

Wow, I’d be happy with 5 or 6 takes, I usually have to do dozens before one comes out half-decent (only to sound bad the next day right 🙂 Oh yeah and the mess-up at the very end, been there done that many times 🙂
But the worst of all is when hitting “save” on guitar rig and seeing the spinning color wheel and you know it crashed… that’s just cruel 🙂

i have had many a time hitting the new button instead of save button such a silly place to put it lol

Takes me a few takes before i get a decent one too, its all good practice at the end of the day 😉
