I think the problem with the not balls enough is not the volume well yes…the amp if he is using the one in the pic is not a master volume amp and those amps aren’t quite as crunchy/overdriven as mastervolume so he would really need to crank it up alot.

The amp in the picture is mine, but its not the one i used for this recording, I used a marshall valvestate, the same one thats in Fil’s getting the ac/dc tone video the little practice amp, I used his settings but, the guitar Fil used i think has higher output pickups, so maybe i needed to overdrive the amp more to compensate that

Intro lead guitar needs more volume! More balls! The tone sounds good, it’s just not ballsy enough. Crank that bitch up!

Yeah I agree, thanks for the advice ๐Ÿ™‚
I think its a combination of my pickups not having a high enough output and not enough over drive

Me and some friends decided to record this song for our college project, we were only required to do about 3 minutes but I wish we had done the whole song now hehe

I did the lead and rhythm, and my friends did the rest including the mixing which I helped out with a little.

Intro to the solo is played a little out of tune so sorry about that

Guitar (lead and rhythm): Gibson SG 1961 reissue stock pickups (classic 57’s)
Amp: Marshall Valvestate with Fils tone settings from his AC/DC tone video
