Hi, everyone. I have a dilemma. I am learning this tutorial on a telecaster and noticed that on the highest part of the solo which is on the 22nd fret, my tele only has 21 frets! Is there any work around that you may know?

Anyway, a guy, working in FCO, I happened to know who knows you, told me this rumor about your guitars being pleked somewhere in Italy, I’ve looked everywhere on the net and found nothing, so thanks again for the info I will call on them right away.

Hi, Fil complimenti for the huge job, I’ve just got a little lost compared to the old Yuotube. Anyway I hope this is the right place to ask you a question. You didn’t show, so far, any videos on how you fix and setup your guitars. In my case for example I still play my 1972 sg with Bigsby that I bought for 300.000 lire when I was a young student in Torino. For me, She has Thi most beautiful sound I ever heard, and I tried lots of guitars around the world (I’m lucky to be an AirLine Captain). Only one little bit of a problem: the neck at the end (the part that fits in the body) “climbs” just a bit, so to get a clean sound (not too buzzy) I have to raise the action a little too much. The problem is I didn’t have the guts so far to trust any body to to put his hands on my loved one. Since I live in Palermo and work in Rome I’d like to know if you do your fixing by yourself or if you trust anybody to work on your jewels guitars.

Hey Fil, congrats with your tutorials! You’re doing a great job for all of us! Thanks! I have a problem with my Shure-mic… I connected it to my Eleven Rack. You have two connections (one in the front and one in the back), I think I’m correct. But now the problem, I don’t know how to set in my settings… in Pro Tools. I don’t think the mic has an on-off-swith (coorect me if I’m wrong :D). So I want to know how to put my settings in Pro Tools. Do I have to choose aux input or something else when I put my trackline on… What do I choose from bus/input? Tried lots of things, but can’t record sound with my mic 🙁 I would be very gratefull with some help… Thanks! J-L

Connected the Shure mic to a Tascam device (from my father) and it worked, but worked not well (don’t have a good sound). 🙁 And I don’t know how to position my mic… How close to my cab? In the middle of the cab? Downwards directed? (top of the mic downwards?). And still doesn’t work with my Eleven Rack. Have no sound in Pro Tools 🙁 I have still a lot of work with it!

Thanks Mike. Yes I still do use the 1987 and the Metro JTM50 and love them very much. I have just in fact put both heads on top of the other heads. Funnily enough, this video was shot with a 1976 JMP Super Lead (100 watts), not with the 2204. I like the 2204 (and the 2203s) the most probably as amps, yep. They have it all. The only thing I’m not too fond of with 220x circuits is the fact that rolling off the guitar volume the sound won’t clear well as with 1959/1987, not the same types of clean. Different. Otherwise they’d be perfect. What can I tell you Mike… I really love ’em all!
