One of my favourites. They don’t call them Swiss AC/DC for no reason.
AC/DC fans, do yourself a favor and listen to their albums from Metal Rendez-vous (1980) till The Blitz (1984). Even Heart Attack from 1988 is one solid piece (Rock ‘n’ Roll Tonight is such an anthem). From the new ones I recommend Rock the Block (2003) and of course the latest one Hoodoo (2010).
Btw. their 1982 album “One Vice at a Time” was produced & engineered by Tony Platt and among fans is dubbed “album that AC/DC never recorded”. For me it is their peak – Headhunter from 1983 was maybe more successful commercially, but that one is more metal sounding – thanks to production of ‘Colonel’ Tom Allom (producer of Judas Priest).
Wow, I found another amazing band thanks to you. Vocalist’s voice is so close to Bon’s that I can’t hear almost any difference. I also like that they play some songs a little heavier than our beloved ACDC. This makes Krokus a really nice band. It’s a shame that not much people know them and I can’t find much tabs of their songs either. I heard some riffs that just made my inner strings rang instantly and I can’t play them cause I’m still a guitar beginner.
