Rob, 42 from Norwich, UK. Huge AC/DC fan since about 1979. I've had a few attempts at learning to play over the years but only really started once I stumbled on Fils riff raff tutorial in late 2008. Now I play whenever The family permits!
I had the morning off today so I thought I’d try and get this recorded. I’ve been working at it for a while. The Powerage solos are notoriously difficult though as they are buried in the mix a bit & probably improvised to some degree. There are often unusual notes in there as you know! I changed a couple of bits but tried to keep close-ish to the original.
Thanks Franz, no it was recorded with guitar rig 4 as the wife was working downstairs π Its just the “Black Angus” preset I think, .The Blackstar I bought as it was advertised locally and was cheap! Its a pretty good amp.
Yes, I’m curious to hear the Blackstar, it got very good reviews in my favourite guitar mag.
Oh well, known issue with wife and playing loud π But at least I’m allowed to play loud every 2nd day π

Posted at 16:08h, 12 OctoberOh well, I’m not playing that loud. Just a bit above bedroom level. But you are right if you mean the ears of the rest of the family π
