JMP 2204 sound test through my JCM 800 combo’s G12M-70 speakers

    Maybe a little heavy gain for AC/DC…? Nevertheless, great chops and super tone 🙂

    Sounds actually really good!

    And it sounds something like mid-late 80s ACDC tone, doesn’t it?
    I guess they used these too. 😛

      I think these came stock in the JCM 800 cabs in the early eighties or at least in some of them. I actually pulled these out of my early 80’s JCM800 4×12 to put Greenbacks in. I had Vintage 30’s in the combo before but decided to put these in since they are or are closer to what would have been in it originally. I’m quite pleased with the results even though some say that the G12M-70’s were crap speakers. I’m still on the lookout for some 65’s though.
