Ryley, do you mind telling me what amp you used for this? I’m thinking of giving Garage Band a go at guitar amp simulation. If this is what you can get, I would very much want to use it.
It’s really awesome man, i wish we could post pictures in the comments here… so I’ll try to explain this as soon as possible. Under the amp sims, go to “crunch guitar” sub menu, then pick “heartbroken” as a base to build on. Then go into the amp details and choose the “modern stack” head and cabinet and the “condensor87” mic. I dont remember the EXACT settings, but it didn’t take long to dial them in!
Bravo Ryley!! You know i hear very close similarities on the ending solo with your tone compared to Angus’s
I believe Angus played the last solo with out the SVDS so would make sense
Ryley Do you have the track with just you playing and willing to share? you maybe be close to what they did back in the day when Angus had to do retakes
chip in on this guys! great to hear other peoples thoughts! 😀
i gotta make sure i still have it, i did numerous recordings that day and did them all in the same project in garageband… and actually whats funny, is this is Garagebands NEW amp modelling!
I usually do run through the 2203, but it was too late at night to fire it up, and garage band just did a MAJOR overhaul on their amp modelling software… BIG improvement man, i am astonished!
Okay, so i do not have the original audio track, accidentally deleted it… BUT i still have the preset I used, so i can easily re-record it for sharing, no problem!
