Sounds great as usual from you :). I would recommend experimenting with post EQ for some better results though, don’t be afraid to go extreme. (mid) High mids are the most important frequencies with ACDC. Try cutting some low mids for loosing the ‘boom’, and get more ‘hollow’. Your sound is huge on it’s one, but that’s not always something your lookin’ for in a songs mix. Most of the times the greatest songs have very thin guitar sounds when you solo them out. Please don’t see this as criticism, but as a few tips 🙂 Cheers!
Dries, thanks a lot man, really appreciate the feedback. Honestly, i don’t have much in terms of post production gadgets like Fil lol xD You are right sir. Ive got the big huge sound, now it just needs refining in post production!
PS: in my Whole lotta rosie cover I’ve just EQ’d with a simple parametric EQ in guitar rig, even post EQ is very easy in audacity, it’s not professional, but it works very good.
i record with 1 shure sm57, going into a Tascam US122mkii interface then into garageband / Logic Pro (depending on my mood lol) I know logic has some good EQing available
Really easy with your setup 🙂 try some free VST plugins or AU’s. There are even free tape emulator plugins that give nice results (extended highs – lows ) !
