yes, he is still touring, but i have my doubts that he comes back to Germany again.
The best place to see him is in St. Louis.
And of course, in Wentzville St. Louis.
Yeah, wow, at 85 – have to absolutely love doing it ad have outstanding genes to keep going. I hope it’s an inspiration and challenge for Angus, and ac/dc keeps touring for a good while 🙂
aaaaahhhh Chuck Berry, he is my second favorite musician after Angus !!!!
Chuck is fantastic as a musician, not as a person, but as a musician. He had always used a Marshall as well as his Fender amp and his sound is veeery great, my second favorite sound !!
I watched him in France at the age of 81 and he still could do it, i stood one and a half meter in front of him and i will NEVER forget his smile when his was playing his songs. There was a big joy in his face. Unfortunalety he had problems with his wireless system and the technicans came on stage and changed the wireless into cable. It was a fantastic show and i will never forget it, especially because he is a legend, a real Rock`n Roll legend !
By the way, he was using his Fenderamp there.
Okay, I’m not the original poster of this on youtube but it really got my attention so I thought I’d share it with the rest of you who haven’t already seen it. I think Chuck had Rock’n’Roll figured out a LONG time ago. I suppose it is normal since he is definitely one of, if not THE godfather of it! Check those moves out man! It’s easy to tell listening and watching him how much Angus was influenced by him.

Posted at 21:41h, 27 OctoberWould probably draw a tear to Angus’ eye too!
Him playing with Chuck would be like any of us getting to play with Angus I’m sure!

Posted at 15:21h, 27 Octoberhe had a hickup at the begining of this year, he fainted on stage 🙁 he was exausted from traveling and couldnt carry on with the show.
We should have a place on this site to commemorate these old legends, i my mind this would be a great place for it 🙂
