Could make you sad, because one doesn’t like funk. However, the craftsmanship just HAS to be praised here.

I prefer the funk version.
AntPosted at 12:07h, 30 September

HagusYoungPosted at 20:50h, 27 September

Damn! Brilliant guy 🙂
Thanks Fil for pointing.
A must see:
Chuck Berry Sings Death Metal
Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra Sing Death Metal
(btw, the trumpet is pretty magic there…)
AngusrocksPosted at 11:59h, 26 September
hahaha funny, but not bad at all 🙂
adam10603Posted at 16:09h, 26 September
I agree 😀
bananePosted at 07:23h, 26 September
Yes, indeed, like it too, because it’s good work and still sort of rocks 🙂
headwhop26Posted at 05:06h, 26 September
Better than when the Beastie Boys sampled Back in Black 🙂
This is pretty groovin. The phase on the solo is pretty cool, too! I think its funny seeing such a bopping, thin sound on a video of something I know is so hard rockin.
RiffRaffPosted at 18:46h, 25 September
Haha. Nice grove
TylerPosted at 18:08h, 25 September
I’ve seen this before, it’s very well done. It’s just one of those songs that people are always trying to turn into something else. This sounds great, but I hate when people try to turn it into a “rap remix” or something like that.
TORVICKPosted at 17:34h, 25 September
It’s funny but i can’t say i like it, to me they just detroyed a classic.

Yeah! He also did this stuff to some Metallica stuff and others xD With no doubt its a sign for his musical knowledge! Very well done! In my opinion there is no better way to praise his heroes! 😉

Hey Felix, glad to see you again, was a long time since you posted a comment here 🙂
AngusrocksPosted at 11:58h, 26 September
i posted something at A passion for gear.
Could be very interesting for you, too !
AngusrocksPosted at 12:20h, 26 September
ooh sorry, i didn`t see, you have already written…..
bananePosted at 00:19h, 27 September
No problem, Henning. And btw, since I have a PCB in my 2009 SG, I would have to rip everything out anyway. So it’s probably the best idea to get a full wiring kit, move the PCB with everything on it out of the cavity and put the wiring kit in.
But well, since today I’m the very proud owner of a 1969 SG, so that project will be a future project 🙂
rjofigPosted at 00:26h, 27 September
Nice, congratulations, Franz!! Ebay? Post pictures when you have a chance. Cheers!
bananePosted at 00:34h, 27 September
Thank you, Renato! Well, no, a very good friend helped me to get it 🙂
Yes, will probably make an article out of it, comparing it to my 2009 SG.
AngusrocksPosted at 11:55h, 27 September
Wow Franz, you got a 69`SG ?? Of course, that`s the best you can have !!
Like Renato say, make pictures !! I like to see it.
If i would sell my old Porsche i could buy a 69er, too, but my wife then…..oh oh 🙂
bananePosted at 12:09h, 27 September
Yes, I call myself a very lucky guy now 🙂
Put some pix on my german blog: http://www.banane.at/blog/archives/794-Neues-Schaetzchen.html
Still hard to believe that she’s really standing there. But when I look to the left, she’s there, so it must be true. Yay! 😀
AngusrocksPosted at 21:43h, 27 September
wrote you back 🙂
bananePosted at 21:48h, 27 September
Yeah, saw it, wrote back too 🙂
rjofigPosted at 05:42h, 28 September
Oh, that’s really nice, Franz!
I’d love to have one too; I guess selling my old Civic would not be enough though 🙂
bananePosted at 08:06h, 28 September
Oh well, I just had a lot of luck and a very nice friend. Normally I couldn’t afford such one, at least not for the common Ebay prices without collecting money for some time. Selling our Opel would do it, but then my wife would have to use the train for going to work, so that’s not an option to consider 🙂

Sorry franz for the late reply! Yes very busy these days here 😀 At the moment im doing a practicum in a transmission – business as an engineer 😉 If everything work out fine (as it looks like at the moment, this is my job for the next part of my life ;))
Greetings to you and you all!! :):)
bananePosted at 14:28h, 28 September
Felix! No problem so far 🙂 In which industry are you working?
Keeping fingers crossed for you then! 🙂
ThundersnookPosted at 20:34h, 28 September
Working for “GTL-Getriebetechnik Leipzig” a little business which builds transmisions up to 8 tons of weigth for cranes used in the industry 😉 Very cool stuff!! Axes and transmission gears up to 700kg and bearings everywhere! Absolutley cool stuff for men! 😉 xD Like plaing with Lego/Märklin, but one step further 😀
bananePosted at 21:39h, 28 September
HA! I know that feeling, used to build prefabricated houses in Germany 15 years ago. Same Lego feeling there 🙂 And I drove 2 ton house walls around with a big crane there to load them on trucks for delievery to the construction site. Cool stuff for real men, yes 🙂
