Note: should anyone being interested in why during playing I’ll go the amp and change a setting, reason was, I had left presence to 10. I put it back to 0 and reverted playing. Later on, I’ll go back to the amp and re-set presence at 10 for woman tone.
Here I wanted to add more of the third microphone, the “ambient” one, that captured more reverb. To give you an idea of what it was to be there!

So much for vintage LPs! Chambered Les Pauls sound pretty good in my humble. This one here has nothing special, I just purchased it randomly.
I changed both pickups to TimBuckers though, and did ’50s wiring. Bridge is TonePros.
This is also the guitar that I used with Jaiminho Pagina collaboration here.
This one definitely has hotter pickups. I rewired the bridge pickup to ’50s wiring.

A few months ago, I started researching for another Amplifier Head. Reason was, I wanted to go even higher in quality and a sort of back to my vintage Marshall Heads. But didn’t want to go into vintage again
1953/1959 Scott Lentz Conversion, real PAFs, original harness and original late ’50s Bumblebees.

So, I’m launching today – as promised – my first test (I was testing myself, not the amp 😆 ) with this Metro (George Metropoulos Amplification).
We recorded – my ex-sound Engineer – Chris – and I – in the same place where I had recorded the AC/DC tone video.
Three microphones were used, a condenser Neumann U87 and two dynamic Shure SM57s, one on the front of the cab and one in the back (to capture more bass and the reverb of the room). (more…)
