Im a college student from the Denver, CO area whole likes good, hard, rock n roll with no frills. Found Fil on Youtube 2 or 3 years ago, and now Im pretty active here :D
Hi, I have found this software on the net a week ago and now I’m near to buy it for some recording experiment. Personally I love the If You Want Blood sound, so I will try to replicate it with this software. I hope we could work together to find the good setup. I will contact You as soon as I have the software.
Keep on rockin’
Bye
Yeah. Ive actually adjusted it since I posted this and I think Im getting a better sound out of it.
The tricky thing with this software is getting a lot of life and bark out of the tone without jacking up the gain or presence, but maybe team effort would resolve that!
I don’t know if this will help but have you tried doing what Fil said? Treble and Middle on 10 and bass on 0? (I don’t know if it will work for Bib tone but it has worked on my little amp pretty good). Also i think ac/Dc tend to have presence at 0. Nice playing by the way. 🙂
do you have any chance on cabinet-simulation in this software? Its quite near, but i miss the BITE … the saw that devides my brain, you know … you might try less bass and more treble and middle (just a suggestion) If there is a cabinet simulation, go for a vintage one with a sharp sound … but I know your situation! =) It tooks nearly a week for me to find my tone with guitar Rig 4, so be patient, soon you’ll be near to your tone! =)
I think its just not the best software, because I really cant achieve that BITE. Ive played with this for literally *hours* and if I do much different, it really become flat and “not alive”.
Since I dont have a really nice amp or GuitarRig4 with me, I tried to replicate some Back In Black tone for people with a Line 6 Pod Studio GX and Pod Farm. Its just a $100 setup, and its good for my small dorm while Im at University, so I dont have to keep my amp in my room. My playing isnt the best in the video, but I made it at like 2 in the morning, so I hope youll forgive me 🙂

Posted at 23:50h, 11 JanuaryI know AC/DC uses the Presence at 0, but this software isnt the best model, so to get any sort of beef to the tone, I crank it up
