This is really great! It’s almost like the original! With headphones it was kind of hard to tell the difference 😛
But… Maybe it’s sounding a bit too… smooth?
I know it probably was already commented here many times, but did you think about trying the Celestion G12-65?
There’s something about the BiB tone… A kind of acid feel, with a “deep” bass response and screeching highs… Both on rhythm and lead actually. I really THINK it might be the G12-65.
The 1959 is a little warmer, so maybe that could attenuate the deafening character of this speaker (it sounds really harsh with the Master Model circuits).
What do you guys think? Does anyone have experience with these speakers?
