It´s all AC/DC´s fault. My mind is obsessed with their music.
I play guitar just for fun, by myself or together with an old record. The only thing that is better than listening to the music i love the most is playing it (well, at least try to play it), and try to catch those little details that makes it interesting.

Posted at 19:39h, 05 AprilThank you all for nice comments. I talked with “my old man” today ( he built the amplifier that is used in the video ). And it turns out that it is modeled after a Marshall JCM800, model 2204 ( with master volume ).

Posted at 01:06h, 02 AprilHey, that was really nice. I think vour vibrato is really good. 🙂
I’ve been playing for about 5yrs. (only about 2 on lead) & I’m not near to the speed or vibrato you have. Working on it though. 😉
Keep ’em coming!! 🙂

Posted at 23:23h, 01 AprilThank you both for kind comments. I have been playing since I was 14, so that means… (counts on my fingers)… 8 and a half years. This video was filmed last summer. I don’t focus that much on speed (except for the first two years I played). My own personal “guitar quest” is to tame the vibrato. A hard and challenging task for my stubby little fingers.

Posted at 23:30h, 01 AprilYeah, right. I’m a beginner, and learning vibrato is the toughest thing at all.
So you have 8 years experience, that’s already a lot. Do you play in a band?
jubaluba
Posted at 00:16h, 02 AprilNo. No band. The people who play any instruments where I live either play black metal or some brass instrument in the local marching band.
It is very wise of you to start devloping a good vibrato early on. I wish I had tought about that to start with. The naive ears of a 14 year old boy who teaches himself to play isn’t always that reliable (at least in my case).

Posted at 22:10h, 01 AprilHello and welcome jubaluba 🙂 Woah, you can play really fast 🙂 How long do you play guitar for now?
Thanks for your video, was a nice and impressing performance.

Posted at 21:00h, 01 AprilHello everyone. This is my first upload her on solodallas.net. This is quite scary, as I’m a quite shy and nervous human beeing.
I played a Gibson SG faded worn cherry, through a Boss OD3, through a homemade amplifier (modelled after a 70’s 50w Marshall with master volume) and a 2×12 Peavey cabinet.
The settings on the amplifier were (approximately):
Presence: 0
Treble: 5
Middle: 5
Bass: 5
Gain: 2-3
Volume:3-4
The settings on the OD-3 were:
Level: 3-4
Tone: 3-4
Drive: 2-3
Sorry about the sound of the video. I recorded it with a small compact camera.
Hope you like it.
