This video was shot in my former recording studio, Studio58a.
Guitar used here was my 1967 Gibson SG Standard played on a reissue Marshall head and cabinet, being a 1987XL Modified by David Bray and a 1960B cabinet with reissue (at the time) G12Ms.

Posted at 13:21h, 14 AugustOh yeah these ones were all mike’d up. It was either the Samson C01 microphone or the Laptop’s own microphone. It would seem crazy to record with a laptop microphone (and maybe it was) but the room sounded SO well that I could achieve these results quickly and easily. All I wanted to do at the time was to play like a crazy (and I did for quite a while).
So what you hear is the amp and the room. That’s it. No further processing, nothing. Yes, tutorials will rain for these. I built this site for this. To share, in a place all for ours, clean, with good, interested people 🙂

Posted at 18:12h, 14 AugustWhat do you think of the FM57 or Audix i5 for micing they are both dynamic mics and i heard you say in one of your videos to use a “condenser” mic and if so which mic should i choose for starting out.Very nice cover again I could say that all day 😀 wow in this video you captured the AC/DC tone and felling it sounds so good for a laptop mic BUT its not the mic its your “HANDS,MIND AND HEART” that define your tone just like the Young brothers 🙂
