09 Aug 1962 Gibson SG Custom “White”

I don’t have many pictures of this one with me right now. Bear with me: loads more coming.
This one I bought circa 10 years ago. Got some of a story. Here goes.

I am looking at getting a 1961 gibson sg custom white with 3 pickups similar to yours, all original except the pickups whose original PAFs were replaced with pat# pickups and a T Top middle. Hence the price is not in the stratosphere unlike guitars like yours with PAFS. Im assuming your 1962 sg custom has PAFS. I love sg custom in white with 3 pickups its my dream guitar i love the look and the mystique and looking at yoru is making me really get one. I guess my problem is whether its worth getting it with out the PAFS. I havent had the pleasure of playing a guitar with original PAFS only Pat# ones to compare. In your opinion is there really much difference or you get away with replacing them with PAF like pick ups similar to the SD antiquities etc. Do you also use your sideways vibrola? any tips on setups etc. Cheers man thanks very much. Posted at 20:32h, 09 AugustI love this guitar, with it’s unique appearance, although i saw the singer/lead guitarist of wolfmother with one of these when i went to a live performance of them. (great band, the guitarist is also trying to get a real vintage sg tone)
