Hello my name is Jacob, Im a die hard AC/DC fan, I own a Gibson SG 1961 reissue, I use a Mini Marshall head and a replica 1960BV cabinet that I built my self. I live for Rock n Roll.
I am also a huge aviation enthusiast and I am learning to fly to get my private pilots licence

Posted at 18:47h, 02 JuneI have the exact same head!!! I sure growls when you crank it though to 6 Volume 1, 4-5 Volume 2….The hardest part for me is going into clubs with it and it’s always causing the club owner to tell us to turn down, even though he did book an AC/DC Tribute Band so what does he expect

Posted at 19:23h, 02 JuneIt does have a great sound doesnt it, what volume does it break up for you on the high channel? Ive never had the high treble to 1 in the house its just too loud, I could do with some hottr pickups also

Posted at 22:27h, 02 JuneIt starts breaking for me it seems around 6 or 7 I think…It is a very loud head lol…I have the AY Signature Pickups too…What kind of cab is that?

Posted at 01:34h, 03 JuneYeah I think the sig pickups would be better, i bet they cut it way easier, i cant get mine to 6-7 the walls start shaking an the house starts breaking haha!
The cab is based on the 1960bx I built it myself, really the bx should have green backs in but I dare not use green backs with this head incase of them going bang so I opted for v30s so that technically makes the cab a 1960bv (I think)
Id like a real marshall cab becuase ive almost destroyed this one when i had the normal channel real high it almost fell apart haha

Posted at 08:04h, 03 JuneLol, the head is a beast. My rehearsal room is total separate building than my house. My dad inherited money from his aunt and he spent on a 34 x 12 ft. Shed/House thing and it’s our studio. We also live in the wilderness so neighbor’s are an acre away. I just use a regular 1960 cab, couldn’t find a vintage cab at a price I could pay
